I'm experiencing the same issue that copped up a month and a half ago as discussed here. Was looking forward to leveling my Diwari today too.

Edit: though odd, this issue didnt persist. I still have no idea what the exact issue is but it seemd the server was having issues for a while. I must have left it running in that void between the server messages and the char select screen for a good hour before it eventually spit me out on the other end.
