Made my first donation a few days ago,
got my item within a few days, im soooo doing this again,
besides if it keeps the server going then it's all good!

Im going to donate every 2-4 weeks from now!

Just made another donation, gonna make a request now! Ok its another small donation but if i keep doing this it will all help LOL

Just a couple notes...

There is now a $20 limit on items per month. I don't want you guys just buying everything, there's a game to be played.

This was true before, but it's good to remind you all... I handle all the donation items. Do NOT PM or ask other GMs about the donation items. They will tell you that I deal with these. If you bother them, they have the right to mute you for a day.

Don't try to strike a deal with me or get me to break procedure. I'll wait for Raven's confirmation, and then I'll give you the item.

Don't think that donating makes you invincible, either. You still have to abide by the rules, and you will not get any special treatment should you be found breaking any of them.

What I don't get is why anyone would want to cheat after buying an item anyway, surely it's defeating the point. If whoever is cheating can and does cheat then why dont they just make their own weapons instead of buying them.. not that I am encouraging cheating of course, as I never have done and wouldnt even know where to start!

The way I read that, I wouldn't say there would be a problem if you wished to donate more. But you wouldn't be able to get items in exchange for a donation.

I would find it unfair to someone that has spent hours and hours hunting for stuff only to be out done by someone with $100 to donate.

We're not free to play, pay to enjoy.
And to maintain fairness the weapons obtained via donations have inferior percents to what you can find.

Nobody's going to be allowed to pay for whatever they want, no matter how much money they wave in the faces of admins. They have good morals, we have a good community, and enough money to pay for the server for quite a while. Up until said PGF incident and the string of events leading to Karma posting that last message - take a look at people's posts here. They did it at the very least, partly, to help keep the server up, not for a materialistic motive like getting a fuxleet weapon effortlessly.

We'd like further donations to be out of keeping the server going for you guys too, is all.

And like I said, you're free to donate as much as you want, we just won't hand out items for more than $20 of it per month.

I didn't think I'd need to put in limitations like this, but with recent events I feel such limitations are necessary.

We don't pocket the money ourselves, and we have a good enough flow of it to last us quite some time. If we're ever in dire need, we'll make it clear.

And don't worry on the PGF note... We never let anypony donate for a PGF, and getting a PGF weapon via donation isn't as good as making it yourself percent-wise.
