Taking away the challenge of obtaining the items takes away the value of the deal. If any of the items in Kure-ji's Deal were easy to get, they wouldn't be part of Kure-ji's Deal. It's supposed to be difficult. It's supposed to make the player feel like they've accomplished something once they obtain the item (or the prerequisites of the item in said Tier). If you make it easy, that takes away the fun.

That's like saying we should make Raid on Central Tower easy. Everyone loves to hate that quest because of how hard it is, but it's the satisfaction of completing that quest that makes you actually like the quest (I can't say this for everyone, but I love that quest. <_<).

Of course! Was just using it as an example. xD Put your head together, use your resources and the road will be paved smoothly.

You'll have a better chance at completing ROCT alone rather than finding a 90%h item in 1 day. It's hard as it is to find 50H weapons, so lets not make the ways of getting them impossible either.

15-20% more tekk power is NOTHING compared to the actual effort into finding the items themselves.

What resource does this server have available to make it possible to get said 50h weapons? The casino. Vouchers.

Yes, it's all left to the DAR whether or not the weapon drops. If you're hunting for the weapon on a consistent basis, it's bound to drop. If you're the kind of person that hunts for a weapon until the drops with the %'s you have, it's going to take you three times as long to get the items required for the deal. Maybe even longer, depending on how much time you have.

But hey, we have resources for that, too. Mass attack quests. And there are people that would be willing to do these quests with you. People are excellent resources.

And at no point did I say that these extra percentages have any equivocal value to the effort it takes into getting the weapons before you get them to the stats you want. In fact, in my first post in this thread, I stated that these percentages have little impact on what effort is required to get them. You're repeating what I said several posts ago.

You know what, I get all of this, I get it.

I understand that you can use casino vouchers, I get that. And you know what, if you want to, sure, go right ahead.

That doesn't exclude the fact that some of the high tier items need a dark weapon to make. Which, if you look, need 60+h %. You still need to hunt the PGF (the drop rate is a lie) and hunt for the calibur.

There are just some flaws in which when we say that we can get these items via the multiple resources that we have, that we overlook the fact that almost all of them need a dark weapon to make XD, and sometimes the items we need are just those 60H caliburs.

If you wanna spend vouchers for 10% onto a 50H calibur, be my guest.

Bottom line is that it's not that much a difference when we added 15-20% extra. I think some of us blew the idea out of proportion, because there's a large chunk of us (myself included) that are NOT in the advanced/elite ranks. This means that we have the normal 10% tekk rate. So, if anything, these boosts are hard to get in the first place because of the requirement needed to get them. Some people think the requirements needed to meet advanced and elite are easy, but for people like me, who has no lvl 200 characters in the past decade, it's not as easy as it seems.

Nah they are still rare as fuck. People who got them are just that damn dedicated to getting them.

I'm talking like long sit-through of the capsule machine and dumping a lot of coins into it.

Anyway, I'm okay with the added tek boost. Gives people a little more incentive to rank up. I hope that it's a start of more incentives. Personally the troll tier talk doesn't affect me because even with the added tek boost I'd still think they are pretty troll tier. And it's pretty funny to call it troll tier. But that just my opinion. You can take that with a grain of salt.

But maybe in the future we can think of a rotation or addition to Kure's?

I made a comment about the Advanced/Elite scenario, too.

Where a player could just as easily go to another with an Advanced/Elite ranked player and ask them to do the tekking for them. This had to deal with Docta's initial complaint. To which I also stated, in parenthesis, that I could see this being turned into a pay-for service. This of course, was out of jest.



I said that, too. In the exact same post. And honestly, the fact that most of the tier weapons require a Dark-type weapon to make is not all that bad. These things aren't just supposed to happen in the span of a few days. Kure-ji's Deal takes time. I understand that not everyone has that time or-- in most cases-- are too intimidated by the prerequisites and therefore do not try.

But it's the "trying" part that makes this all possible.

Well I think I'll remove the tek perk for ranked players. It seems to have just upset players more than anything.
