So I was feeling pretty good about myself, having solo'd TTF with my ramarl for the first time. Upon my second attempt, I was met with far greater resistance. My biggest problem area is:

HOW DO YOU AVOID THE GREEN BALL TRAP THAT VOL OPT SENDS OUT??

Checklist
--------
1. Outrunning it -> does not work
2. Using PB as soon as the ball is about to hit you --> does not work
3. Attempting to destroy that part of Vol Opt first --> does not work because the boss keeps rotating, effectively shielding the part it wants to
4. Trying to endure the attack's damage --> I suspect it's not like Bringer's shot. It will KO you regardless of HP? I have 1402 and it still got me
5. Attempting to destroy that part of Vol Opt by casting a wide net / dark meteor --> takes too long. If it wants to bushwhack you with it, it'll do it in time
6. Praying Vol Opt does not use that attack --> effective only 2/10 times based on a sample of 10
7. Increasing resistance/DFP --> messed around a little bit with the units at my disposal, h/resist, god/body. Result: same

The 2 times I managed to clear this, he didn't do this attack. Do I just have to carry scape dolls around? I thought Falz would be the big problem, not Vol Opt.

Oh, here's a tip: run in small tight circles.

That attack should deal fix damage, though I don't know the exact amount. (In vhard, I need 500 hp to survive it)

If you want, I can tank it with Hitman and tell you the dmg done some time.

That'd be marginally helpful. If it turns out the attack deals more damage than the ramarl hp limit, it won't help too much. I'm interested in your "run in small circles" technique

Not gonna work here.
1. You cannot do ttf in solo mode on Eden. There is a huge difference between the boss hp/def in solo mode vs multiplayer mode.
2. It is closed to impossible to get a s rank on this server nowadays. I know s rank zerk needle is great, but it is probably more rare than guld milla or hp on here.

Thanks, Zale. I did watch the video and he had some kind of needle with zerk. Each needle did 920 damage or so, which was pretty cool. But those seem, ah, difficult to come by. But you did give me another idea; I could try using the charge on a vjaya to finish Vol Opt before he does his BS move. More than once, it's been his opening move however, and I don't think there's much that can be done about that. Though, I have yet to try Villain's small circles technique.

Man, I can't wait to get Hitman in there to show you how it's done.
