Hello everyone. New to the server (but not new to the game!) and I can't get NPC skins to work for the life of me. I used the server command to change myself to Tails, but the skin won't update even if I change blocks as instructed. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks for listening :) |

Select the default head and body for your character 1st. To do this go to the dressing room when you select your character. |

Hmm, still not working. The game even crashed once while changing blocks |

Do you get the message on your screen asking you to change blocks after typing the command? Can you type here exactly what you type in game when you type the command? |

I typed "/npc <5>" without quotes. And I get the pop-up message to the right side of the screen saying "Skin updated, please change blocks for it to take effect." But when I change blocks, my character is still the same. |

Try "/npc 5" without quotes. It may be trying to interpret <5> as an integer and messing up. |

Still not working :[ I changed Face and Outfit to default. As well as Hair. Does hair color and skin color matter? |

They matter on the last few npc skins -- and only in the sense if they change for you can either crash you or make you invisible and unable to move (selecting the default head and hair will fix those issues) |

I had the same problem and even tried a trainer to try and force it but while the trainer did not work the command did start to work afterwards Not sure whats up with that but just keep trying I suppose EDIT: I should add that the trainer did set my character to default so I guess that is why it started working ^__^ Oh and after you type the command you talked to the counter NPC and chose to switch blocks right? I know you said you did but I sorta made the mistake of switching floors at first >__< |

Oh man, I'm an idiot. I was changing floors the whole time, instead of changing blocks. So that did the trick! Thanks everyone for the help :) |
