I have successfully connected to the server, everything is working just right, but now after about 5-10 minutes, the game will freeze and a windows error message will come up that says "psobb has stopped working." Any suggestions?

Could it be a texture that isn't working properly? What are you trying to do when it crashes, or is it just time based?

It just seems to be after 5 minutes or so, I've tried doing multiple quests, and it crashes every time.

Can you give me a step-by-step?

Like:

"Logged in, got in the lobby, went into a game, but the game crashed before loading anything."

OR "Went to forest, but forest crashed me." If that's the case, did a different area crash you as well?

PSOBB generally doesn't pop up the "Stopped Working" message unless there are errors with loading textures or there is missing data.

I've gone into the forest, killed some enemies, then out of nowhere, it just crashes...maybe it's something in the forest, I'll test out caves.

Once again, are you using any custom skins? If not, would you be aware of which spawn it would be -- like would it be the mothvert spawn that would be crashing it? This assumes you're somewhat familiar with the area, and if you're not familiar with the spawns, a picture of the room from the outside or before the spawn would work as well.

No custom skins, and it just crashed in the caves for no apparent reason. Maybe I'm missing textures from every area, but I'm also not completely sure my download was thorough.

Hmph. I'll upload my entire directory somewhere later tonight, once I get home. And I know it works...

If it helps, I just tried playing on schthack to see if that worked, and that also crashed after about 5 minutes of gameplay.

Then I'd hazard a guess that it'd be program conflicts, firewall stuff, antivirus stuff, or your internet itself rejecting requests to connect to certain ports? I honestly can't say, then.
