In that case can you post a screenshot of your directory?
Scht has made some changes recently.. I've not kept up with it for years but I suppose there is the chance the files are no longer compatible with the default client. Try installing a clean psobb tethealla client (if you can't find it then eden/ultima etc) and run it from there.
