This Summer has been the most involving part of the year thus far for me, certainly compared to the soul-sapping rigmarole of my normal routine. Let me give just two examples:

When I stayed with a friend for a few days and went out clubbing for his birthday, I was attacked by someone with a knife (the jokes about my curly hair never get old), physically embraced by a stinking female homeless person and witnessed a woman taking a young man's crutches from him, only to beat him with them (nothing particularly serious) and later still for the same guy to stick a crutch between her legs and pleasure her with it in the middle of a club. I know.

At the other end of the spectrum, I have been parasailing (something like that, I forget its name) for the first time - an activity that only the other day managed to reach the headline of the latest paper as a tourist died from the activity only the day after I'd done it in the same area! I've also been jetskiing for the first time over incredibly choppy water during which I managed to gob - i.e spit throatilly, not vomit - in my brother's face after swallowing a mouthful of saline water.

I went to Germany and had the first surgery of my life. That's about it.

Nothing too particularly crazy on my end other than finally being done with high school. A few funny moments at my friend's graduation party.

We did end up getting a new deck/patio, might take pics of it... It's pretty awesome, and I kinda wanna stay in this house because it's so nice here. ;-;

I got baptized.
