   |   [Revelation Chronicles]: Divine RetributionSince some people wanted an update, might as well post it here. This is my RPG project, made in RPG Maker 2003. It's the 2nd installment, although this is supposed to be the "Present tense". I might post the 1st game sometime, but I'm more focused on finishing this game.Sin is still not that easy, though. >D NOTE: Use winrar or 7zip to extract the files. To those who are new: Z = Action Button X = Cancel/Menu Tap shift once = Run mode/Walk mode 1,2,3,4,5 = use technique Have fun playing!_________________

Boredom - A severe disease infecting millions of people all over the world in which they constantly exhibit certain behaviours like lack of movement, construction of various pointless structures, doodling, talking about pointless things, and taking pictures of feet. There is no known cure, though the symptoms do seem to fade when victim is introduced to something time consuming or slightly entertaining, such as television or counting nails in a wall. Though is it a very severe and wide-spread epidemic, it is not fatal, though attempts to get rid of the disease have known to be fatal at times.

   |   Re: Divine RetributionNononon. It's not a full game. XD There's only about 2 chapters in this demo, so yeah. But I'll give your game a shot after I receive some comments or anything else you find funny in my game. I don't really like the other RPG maker series, just 2003. Since I much more prefer the side-view battles._________________

   |   Re: [Revelation Chronicles]: Divine RetributionThe XP battle system is indeed rubbish, but there are mods out there to improve it and make it closer to that of the older Final Fantasy games.
I just never personally tried one.

   |   Re: [Revelation Chronicles]: Divine RetributionI know, but still, making such a battle system in XP is useless, because it would take considerable amount of time to customize the script to let you use the battle commands you want, as well as sprite animations. _________________

   |   Re: [Revelation Chronicles]: Divine Retributionactually there IS a sideview battle script that you only "plug in"and start tinkering with it. NO EXTRA BATTLE SPRITES NEEDED! (the battle sprites
 are the field sprites.)

Maybe I can find the link later

   |   Re: [Revelation Chronicles]: Divine RetributionWhen I mean sprite animations, I am talking about the extra animations to make it look more detailed.
I already know there's a side-view battle script for XP already, but, like I said, to make it more detailed like the one in RPG maker 2003, you'd have to modify the script itself, and that will take a lot of time.
